Embraced In Forty-Seven Quarto Maps, Forming A Series Of Seventy-Six Maps And Plans, Together With Valuable Statistical Tables. Philadelphia: Published By S. Augustus Mitchell, Jr. No. 31 South Sixth Street. 1860. Entered . 1860, by S. Augustus Mitchell, Jr. . Pennsylvania. In good condition, having most likely been disbound from an atlas. Minor wear to edges and corners of page, primarily to left-hand side. Small tears at top. Occasional foxing and spotting. Colors remain bright and labels remain easy to view. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce hand-colored map by Samuel Augustus Mitchell (1790-1868), an American cartographer, or his son, also named S.
