By: Ruth Taylor WhiteDate: 1935 Published in BostonDimensions: 12.5 x 9.25 inches ( 31 x 23 cm)This is a wonderful example of life in 1935 in Kansas. Lots of cattle, including the meat packing industry in Kansas City are prominent. Families traveling West in wagons and passing by the wheat fields, Coal mines, and Oil Wells are also evident. In the lower left hand corner, coming from Texas, are the Cattle drivers moving North through the state. The "Sunflower State" is at the geographic center of the United States. The Santa Fe Trail took Wagon trains through this wide state many years ago.Note: Image of map description is not on the versa of this image.Condition: Excellent condition, with sharp clean images, full margins, & vibrant color.Inventory #17170.
