Add to basketClason's Guide to Colorado with Map. Denver: The Clason Map Co., 1913. *** This interesting little guide was published about a decade before the general public started touring by automobile, thus one of the last guides and map before the great transition spearheaded by Henry Ford. The large folding color lithograph map shows railroads in Colorado at their greatest extent. Also shown are many mining towns and settlements that no longer exist. Included is a guide (40 pp) which is essentially a number of lists of places and things, many with map reference numbers. There is also a table of railroad distances between Colorado towns. *** Green pictorial paper covers, clean with light wear, damp stain on part of fore edge of each cover. The booklet is split along the spine, with the map affixed to the back cover. The contents are complete, clean except for damp stain on fore edge. The map is in very good condition with no stains. One small chip in bottom margin does not affect image. Several narrow strips of white tape on margin edges that serve no function that I can see. *** Sheet is 19 inches high by 23.5 inches, image is 17.75 inches high by 22 inches.
