Superb map of the state of Alabama showing a well developed railroad network. This map was printed in black and white and then hand-colored at the time of publication. The counties are differentiated by full wash color creating a handsome composition. The map is keyed to show RailRoads and Common Roads. The town-place hierarchy goes down to villages with post office. this is a desirable map for the serious collector.
