The Great Wall is shown, along with the Gobi Desert, Tibet, Korea and elongated peninsula, curiously shaped Japan and nice detailed features. Cantelli introduced this bold engraving style that was followed and further developed by Coronelli. The title carries a dedication to Jean-Baptiste Tavernier and Jean de Thevenot.
