Rare map of Greene County, Tennessee. This map was executed with remarkable detail. the legend contains 54 categories in two columns. Column one categories shown on the map are, for example: farm unit, dwelling (non-farm), group of business establishments, tourist camp, airport, airway beacon light and other cities and villages. The second column contains 30 classifications covering roads and railroads. All were used on the map with the compiler making the legends specific to this map. There are 17 inset maps of local layouts. A few are; Midway Mosheim, Caney Branch, Tusculum, Warrensburg and Mt. Carmel. The genealogist will delight in this map.
