This map is striking in its black and white presentation. The compiler used two columns to layout the 59 categories of information coded into the map by use of symbols. The first column, for example has; farm unit, dwelling, hotel, post office, church and cemetery and prominent elevation. Column two presents, for example; C.C.C. Camp, scenic site, railroad, primitive road and paved road. additionally, there are 16 inset maps. This is a rare map that should interest all historians and genealogist.
