Two-tone heliozincographed map with text to verso, map image measuring 235 by 328mm; folded, single spot, lightly marked along the fold lines on the verso. In very good condition overall. Jerusalem; re-printed by the Sarafind section, 512 Fd. Survey Coy.RE, Sept 1945. The first edition of an official army map of mandated Palestine with additional information for .the guidance of ALL MEMBERS of the forces visiting Jerusalem.? (verso). The map shows Jerusalem bounded by the Old City (NE), The Records Office and German Hospital (NW), and Allenby Barracks (S). Some of the map?s points of interest include the Y.M.C.A and key tourist spots including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, David?s tomb and the Pool of Siloam. Rare.
