Beck (January 1953). 14.5 x 22.5cm, 5.75 x 8.75 inches; this is a folding map. Condition: Fair: Spotting. If the print has been scanned in black and white, any foxing or spotting highlighted in this statement may appear brown on the actual print. Information about central area interchange stations is printed on the reverse side. Notable differences to the current underground network include: The Metropolitan Line extends beyond Amersham to Aylesbury (the stations line beyond Amersham were transferred to British Rail in 1961). The District Line extension to South Acton is shown (transferred to British Rail in 1959). The map predates the Jubilee line, although the branch of the Bakerloo line between Baker Street and Stanmore as shown on the map became the northern part of the Jubilee line upon its opening in 1979. The Picadilly line extension between Holborn and Aldwych is shown (closed 1994). The map predates the Victoria line, the first part of which opened in 1968. Seller Inventory # P-6-014564
