Map contained in a 3 1/2 by 6 inch folder. Unfolds to about 22 inches wide by 17 inches tall--actual map portion is about 18 inches wide by 12 inches tall. Map shows political features, counties, Indian reservations and unorganized counties (Mostly inside the Indian reservations), towns, cities. Also railroads, rivers and other geographical features. Entire rear of the map is devoted to information about the South Dakota of today (1906) and what is coming in 1906 and in the future. Since the publisher was in the real estate business the overall impression of the information is that South Dakota is the garden spot of the nation. Mr. Everitt was apparently also the Vice President of the local bank. Folder in very nice condition; map with three small fold intersection separations; a 1 1/2 inch edge tear not affecting the map; offsetting from the folder to a rear of the map fold panel.
