This massive and classic work, a quarto volume of 400 pages, illustrated is THE definitive history, genealogy and institutions of the small country towns due west of St. Louis that eventually become suburbs of the city. The contents have an inscriptionon end paper otherwise NO marks and NO tears or flaws to text - bright and tight. Main flaw is one repaired split on lower left of spine and some overall soil to covers. No dust jacket as issued. This book is a real treat and is grossly under priced (I used to get $250-$300 for this scarce volume). Seller Inventory # ABE-1583605198612
