Colour maps on a single sheet 82x49cm. Near fine, folded. The sheet is undated, c1972-3 based on similar maps in the series, with the Defense Mapping Agency established 1 July 1972. The main map, 1/5.7M, shows international boundaries, Departments / Wilaye, standard and narrow gauge railways, surfaced and unsurfaced roads or tracks, airfields, principal and secondary ports, and settlements of various size. Other maps show Population, Economic Activity grouped by type (Agriculture, Fuels and Power, and Mining), and Tribes based on mode of living (Sedentary, Semi-nomadic, Nomadic) with selected tribes named.
