This map is rare. Page was a Chicago publisher who competed directly against the firm of Rand McNally. The infrequency of Page Atlases coming to market reflects the fact that George F. Cram and the McNally firm controlled the market. This map highlights the complex rail system in place in 1885. Slight discoloration at the lower centerfold does not distract from the beauty of the rare cartographic artifact. Very good with mild discoloration ant the bottom centerfold.
