The main map, 1/2.43M, shows international boundaries with that with Algeria marked as disputed, Provinces or Prefectures, railways, surfaced and unsurfaced roads or tracks, airfields, principal and secondary ports, and settlements of various size. Other maps show Population, Economic Activity grouped by type (Agriculture, Fuels, Mining, Industry), and Ethnolinguistic Groups (Arabic, Berber, Arabic and Berber) with selected tribal groupings named.
