Extracted from Rollins Ancient History, Volume V, Page 51, printed in 1768. Jean-Baptiste Bourguignon d'Anville was a French cartographer, born in 1697 and active from age 15. This chart provides an excellent example of his geographical accuracy and attention to detail. Slight discoloration to page. Light crease 1/3 of the way up page. Left side of border cut nearly at maps edge but does not affect chart itself. Lines remain crisp and clear. Text is easily legible. Overall, a superior map in excellent condition.
