Colour maps on a single sheet 71x64cm. Near fine, folded. The sheet is undated c1972. The Defense Mapping Agency was established on 1 July 1972, although curiously this is already out of date, with the main map showing the Trucial States with undefined boundaries without reflecting creation of the UAE. The main map, 1/6M, shows rail, various qualities of road and track, airfields, major ports, and settlements of various sizes. Smaller maps show the Principal Tribes, Land Use and Economic Activity, the Upper Persian Gulf Oilfields, Administrative Divisions (provincial boundaries), and Population sizes and densities.
