George A. Ogle was a map and atlas publisher operating in Chicago until 1907, the year of his death. He produced visually appealing maps of the county and its components. His maps from this atlas are very seldom seen on the market. The color was printed at the time of publication. The portion of the map dedicated to Zion city is centered on Shiloh Park. Named after the major battle that set U. S. Grant's career on fire. The areas shown are neatly divided into urban spaced small lots. The Chicago & Northwestern Railroad runs along the eastern extremities of the map. Also shown are inset maps of Gurnee, Demond's 1st Ad., Wadsworth and a small plotted submission in Vernon Township.
