3 maps of 1803 engraved by S. Neele and drawn by T. Walsh. uncoloured as issued, the map of Minorca had a little loss at top left edge and cropped close along the top, plate lines visible, some light age toning, measure 8.5 x 11 inches. The 3 maps are from a book on the Napoleonic Wars and are sold as decorative original 200+ year old maps, engraved on copper. The titles are "Map of Part of the Mediterranean Sea From Malaga to Minorca" + "The Island of Minorca" + "Map of the Islands of Malta and Goza" (3).

We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.…
