About this Item

Three single sheet paper index maps of England and Wales, all in very good condition for their age and all dated 1929. The Popular Edition map measures 18.5"x15.5": it shows the OS Map Popular Series sheet numbers in black and white and Tourist District Maps outlined in red: paper slightly yellowed with age, but overall clean and bright, and some slight chipping and creasing to side edges; top and bottom edges intact; rear shows slight darkening to edges and folds; but overall in very good condition for a paper map of this age. The other 2 maps are smaller: 14.5" x10.75". They are in a better condition than the larger map, with little or no chipping to edges or darkening to folds. The New Series, 2nd Edition, Quarter Inch to One Mile map shows the numbered sheets all in black and white. The Ministry of Transport Map Index of Half Inch to One Mile maps is also in black and white. Seller Inventory # 003336
