Not dated, approx 1910. Linen back map folding out to measure 35.5'' by 24.5'', plus 72pp gazeteer/index. Good/None. Green cloth boards with embossed titles, minor rubbing/bumping to edges/spine, small ink stain to front board. Colour map in generally good condition with occasional minor splitting to folds, small ink stain to edge, very minor soiling. Tape measure in good condition. Gazeteer pages a little browned. An interesting and novel map of central London, incorporating a fold-out tape measure which is used to help locate sites in the map. It includes Underground & Electric Railways, and Bus & Tram-car routes. The index includes street names, tourist attractions, hospitals, churches, markets, hotels, theatres, etc etc. The map's scale is 3.5'' to a mile with each square covering 1/4 mile. An interesting and scarce map.
