Este mapa militar fue realizado por James Basire, grabador brit�nico, en 1745. Representa los campamentos enfrentados durante el asedio de Prats del Rey (actual Prats de Rei, Catalu�a) en el contexto de la Guerra de Sucesi�n Espa�ola. Muestra la disposici�n de las tropas aliadas (bajo el mando del Conde de Staremberg) y las francesas (bajo el Duque de Vend�me), y la ubicaci�n de cuarteles, caminos, formaciones de terreno y emplazamientos estrat�gicos entre septiembre y diciembre de 1711. La representaci�n del relieve mediante sombreado y la presencia de campos labrados estilizados son t�picos del cartografiado militar brit�nico de principios del siglo XVIII. Incluye una clave explicativa, acompa�ada por una cartela ornamental aleg�rica con s�mbolos b�licos y un escudo. Adem�s, una leyenda inferior explica brevemente el contexto del enfrentamiento, destacando el movimiento final enemigo y el posterior desplazamiento de las tropas aliadas.El mapa se encuentra en buen estado: la impresi�n y el color conservan una viveza notable.
