37 large-scale plans are numbered, folded, and stored unbound in a slipcase. Drawings 36 and 37 have brown stains at one corner, and all are yellowing at edges where they have come into contact with the slipcase. The five-sided slipcase is in good condition with minor edgewear, but the spine of the inner three-sided case is worn away at the upper edge, and separated from its back. Plan list printed on the front side of the three-sided case is still legible, though it has writing at upper edge and a label at the bottom left edge. In 1907, a bridge being constructed to cross the St. Lawrence collapsed, killing 75 workers. These plans helped to illustrate the proceedings of the Royal Commission into the reasons for the tragedy.
