B/w topology map of microwave communications in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia 57x40cm. Good, folded, with several ms annotations and redactions in red and black ink. Drawn by LRS during 25-27 July 1979. An in-house planning document with no other copies or references found. This shows existing and proposed microwave radio relay links connecting Aramco's major facilities at Dhahran, Khobar, Damma, Ras Tanura, Juaymah, Safwa, Jebel Berri, Safaniya, Jubail, Qaisumah (the point where Aramco's pipeline met with that of the Trans-Arabian Pipeline (Tapline)), Manifa, etc. There is also a link with the Government's SCECO HQ (Saudi Consolidated Electric Company), which the Saudis had asked Aramco to provide managerial, service and admin staff in its early years. Details include Microwave Link System numbers to be assigned, frequency to be determined, 2GHz (existing, proposed, or to be removed), 90 MHz (proposed), 6GHz (existing or to be removed), new paths, paths to be removed.
