Terms:
All items are offered subject to prior sale and remain our property until full payment has been received. Goods will be sent within 2 business days of receipt of cleared payment, except during holidays.
Returns:
We accept returns for any reason initiated within 30 days of the estimated delivery date according to Abebooks standard conditions of return.
Authenticity:
All items are genuine antique or vintage and printed at the date stated unless specifically stated to be later reproductions. "Antique" means that the item was printed no less than 100 years ago. "Vintage" means generally refers to items which are at least 50 years old. "Original" means that the print or map was printed at the first or original date of publication; it does not imply that the item is unique. Publication dates given are as accurate as possible and are based on the date of publication of the book, atlas or periodical from which the item was extracted. We do not sell modern copies.
Condition:
The condition of antique and vintage maps and prints can vary due to age and handling. The condition of all items is good and clean unless noted otherwise in the description. Small flaws, marks or blemishes are possible with old items but all major flaws are noted within the statement of condition for each item. Where prints or maps are offered for sale with text or images on the reverse (verso) side, this is clearly stated. Please read the listing carefully prior to making your purchase.
Size:
Refers to the area of the printed image or map only. Excludes any titles above the print or captions below the print. Margins are adequate unless otherwise noted within the description. Dimensions are stated in both imperial (inches) and metric (centimetres).
Postage:
Postage and insurance is extra. We mail using Royal Mail within the UK and Royal Mail or DHL outside the UK. Smaller items are packed in in board-backed envelopes and larger items in strong postal tubes using Royal Mail. We also offer an express time-definite and tracked delivery service by DHL to any destination worldwide.
Payment:
We accept payment by Paypal or by credit or debit cards through Paypal. We accept Sterling cheques drawn on UK banks or payment by electronic bank transfer. Details will be provide upon request.

Smaller items (up to A4 in size) are packed flat in a board-backed envelope. Larger items are rolled into a strong postal tube. Items are sent insured.
