The map shows in detail the the movements and encampments of the British and American united from the north shore of Long Island to the Croton River, south to Fort Washington, Upper Manhattan, Turtle Bay, Midtown Manhattan, and Roosevelt Island, and west to Fort Lee, New Jersey.
