About the Author

Jeanne Hersch (Ginebra, 1910_-_2000), fil�sofa, escritora y traductora, estudi� en las universidades de Ginebra, Heidelberg, Friburgo de Brisgovia―donde fue disc�pula de Heidegger―y Par�s. Asistente de Karl Jaspers, public� su primer libro, L’illusion philosophique, en 1936. En 1966 fue nombrada directora de la Divisi�n de Filosof�a de la Unesco. M�s tarde, en 1970, ser�a designada representante de Suiza ante el consejo ejecutivo de aquella instituci�n. En Acantilado han aparecido sus libros El nacimiento de Eva (2008) y El gran asombro (2010).
