Language: English. Approximately 414 pages. English: Print-on-demand reprint. Original edition : 1727. Text in English. This treatise by Nicholas Robinson offers a mechanical explanation of bodily decays and consumptions, distinguishing them from natural aging processes. The work includes arguments for the curability of lung ulcers and examines the physiological causes of irregular discharges in consumptions. Robinson's approach combines anatomical observations with theoretical considerations, making this a significant contribution to early medical literature on respiratory diseases and systemic health.
