After confessing and grieving, the steps include exploring identity, embracing abilities, seeking peace, designing a new life plan, and helping others through the healing process. Meehan uses his own experiences to help the reader relate. It wasn’t easy for him. Like any trauma, the effects of being fired never truly go away, and Meehan continues his struggle every day. Reading this book is like talking to a friend who has been through the same trauma as you. Getting Over Getting Fired outlines a path to acceptance, hope, and peace.

About the Author

B. J. Meehan is a software expert, professional engineer, motivational speaker, and fiction and technical author. He previously worked as an energy industry executive.

He is the author of the newly released novel, Lifethreat.

Meehan also sings and writes songs and screenplays. He is happily married, with three children and six grandchildren. Meehan is a Boston native but now lives in Southern California.
