Radio reception letter. This is a 1924 letter from Byron R. Newton to a Rice Lake, Wisconsin resident. Acknowledges that the recipient heard his talk (concerning anthracite coal) on WEAF Radio from New York on November 10, 1924. States that the recipient's post card had been passed along by WEAF. Newton was a noted journalist and political figure, and at the time of the broadcast worked in public relations for the anthracite coal industry. WEAF at the time was operated by Western Electric / AT&T; and was later purchased by RCA/National Broadcasting Company, and became WNBC. The letter has been folded for mailing. Somewhat age-toned, but clean. In the original mailing envelope; which has wear from mailing. ; 28B. Seller Inventory # 63124
