Bien � vous." - Armand Gautier is best known today as a friend of Gustave Courbet, with whom he shared a cell following their participation in the Paris Commune, and other important realist and impressionist artists. He also introduced the physician, amateur painter, and engraver Paul Gachet (1828 1909) to his artistic circles.
