Wer Geduld sagt, sagt Mut, Ausdauer Kraft […]". - A landscape painter and founding member of the Munich Secession, Buttersack moved to the scenically inspiring Dachau Moos in 1889, where he settled in Haimhausen four years later and founded the Haimhausen artists' colony before moving to Icking in 1914. - Traces of a postmark. Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application. Seller Inventory # 54833
