December 8, 2001) was an American football player, coach, and executive. He served as the general manager of the New York Giants from 1979 to 1997. He was named NFL Executive of the Year five times. On January 15, 2020, Young was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Centennial Class of 2020.
