Broadside, n. d. (after 1745); 18 x 14 1/2; laid paper, printed in black in five columns; moderate darkening and a few small spots; creases, with small punctures at intersecting lines; several nicks to edges, only one of them affecting a few words in the last three lines; a small piece of tape to verso; in good condition.A rare, 18th-century Danish-American broadside, it outlined the descendants of (presumably) King Christian I of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden through the royal houses of Europe. He was the first king of the House of Oldenburg and the dynasty he founded remains on the throne in Denmark. Although anonymous, according to Christian Bruun's "Systematic list of Danish literature from 1482 to 1830, after the collections in the Great Royal Library in Copenhagen.", the document was printed in the United States. (Bruun, C. (1902). Kopenhagen: Gyldendal). OCLC lists two copies at Danish institutions; none in the trade. Seller Inventory # 003039
