An terrific item from the 1983 film based on Stephen King'snovel of the same name. The markings and annotations in this script all are related to the set, props, and other technical aspects, likely used by of the crew members. A couple notes deal with specific camera shots, others with effects and props such as scratching out "lightning bugs flicker across the dark," and "Star Wars Sheets." One of the more interesting annotations deals with the specifics of shooting the bat-bite scene: "Bat close-up on dog nose, bat bites on nose / hair line." and "1 1/2' high head, 2 ft from ceiling, 8x8x6 1/2", 26" Seward Plexiglass." . 126pp, xerographic duplication on pale green stock, rectos only. Revised first draft title page dated August 20, 1982. Annotations, minor corrections, highlights, markings, etc. on approximately 36 pages in ink, pencil, and occasionally highlighter. Three hole punched, bound with 2 brads. Card wrappers, front in red with printed title, rear in light blue, with an extra brown cover at rear, perhaps added later. Front cover detached at lower brad, some soiling. Very good.
