A 2 page handwritten letter to Helen Holbeche re a letter previously sent attempting to get the artist to employ or aid the advancement of her friend. he states when he gets back to London, he will see him and also check with "The Royal Academy" what they think of his work. Dated August 23rd on black edged paper. Scarce. *Specialised in Portraits and children in oil. Possibly 1878 as other letters from this archive were sent in that year to other R. A. artists asking for help with the budding artist. (We believe this to have been the artist George Henry Grenville Manton). Seller Inventory # 7751
