Elsie Gertrude Clare married John Otho Caude Griffinhoofe in Hove in Spring 1930. This photograph album turned scrapbook contains 41 colour drawings of their life in Brighton with John as a griffin and Elsie as Belle. Drawn by "ye Jam" Varying from full size to 1/3rd page they have a certain humour about life in Brighton and their interaction with the community, including the legal system and 'Hunting in The Lanes". some photos/postcards at the back including H Hamilton Maughan and his pig Margery.
