S.S Aquitania Sailing down the Clyde Sunday 10th May, 1914

Postcard, b/w photo of the R M S Aquitania on its first sea trial. It steamed at one know over the expected speed. Used. Posted WDO Glasgow five days after the photo, writer comments that they were worried it might get stuck. Cancellation heavy, has picked up ink marks from whatever was underneath.Edges rubbed.
