Copied manuscript annotations throughout, noting editorial revisions. Set in 1980s Britain, about the impact of Thatcherism on the family of a junior government minister after the death of the family patriarch. Basis for the 1993 film starring Juliet Stevenson, Joanne Whalley-Kilmer, and Penelope Wilton. Self wrappers. Title page present, undated, with credits for playwright David Hare. 114 leaves, with last page of text numbered 111. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, partially bound at the top left corner with a single silver brad.
