8vo. 195 x 160 mm. 24 pages manuscript, marbled stiff card wrappers. A record of the stock trading activities of two brothers, though to be Richard and Robert Soutler who dealt mostly in Mexican and Portuguese bonds, as well as annuities. The records are meticulous, detailing dates, bond numbers, purchase price and interest; the sums not inconsiderable for the time There is also a record of costs involved in the purchase of copyhold house and grounds in Leytonstone at a total cost of £1,550 including expenses. Also a copy of an Act of Parliament dated 1825 regarding additional burying ground at St.Mary, Stretford.
