A small shelf display advertising novelties for SUNLIGHT Soap with 4 colour chromolithographed Egyptian mounted soldiers each carrying a "Sunlight Soap" shield the piece opens in a cross formation and have printed details of the figures on the reverse, one has a head repair at the neck, holding in place by a clear sliver of archival tape and one other has a crease at the top of his head. With this complete set are TWO other sets of girls on horseback with Sunlight advertising and others blank, but the same series one set are called the "Wrong and Right Way" and the other "Jumping Lessons" each numbered 1-4. however each set one figure is missing a head and to put together are either broken or fragile, so left separated one group have no advertising at all. Each stands about 4 inches high by about 7 inches long. They have NOT been removed from an album. other than the description above, they have other minor imperfections (see images). (3 sets) c1890. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
