This excellent archival grouping comprises three distinct documents from the acclaimed Argentine poet Roberto Juarroz, offering valuable insight into his editorial relationships and poetic output during the mid-1960s. The lot includes two Typed Letters Signed (TLS) and one original typescript poem. The first letter, dated October 25, 1965 from Adrogué, is addressed to "Amigo Ponzo" and discusses submitting lines on a demanding topic, thanking him for "El amor inmaculado" and concluding with his signature in blue ink. The second letter, dated October 2, 1966, enthusiastically praises the publication 'Encuentro', stating that its birth is a comfort amidst so much unwritten and written "garbage," while submitting one of his latest poems for consideration. This letter also features his distinct signature in blue ink and includes standard archive punches to the left margin. Rounding out the collection is an original typescript (TS) of an unpublished or working draft of a "Poema Vertical," beginning with the line "Una cabeza salta hacia el espacio." and ending with his typed name at the bottom. The poem features a contemporary manuscript archival note ("cpo 10 M. 26") at the top right margin. All three leaves are in very good condition with standard mailing folds, serving as a pristine primary resource for scholars of Latin American poetry and the independent literary press of the 1960s.
