Mixed media on wood [20.5 cm x 12.5 cm] / [8" x 5"]. Bob Moss (1953-2011) was an outsider folk artist and musician who lived "out there" and on the fringe. Moss was enamored with the strangeness and beauty of the Deseret alphabet, and created art (mostly wood burnings) based on Brigham Young s failed experiment. "I can say that Bob was, without a doubt, a significant artist and a brilliant, unique voice. He was a first-rate artist. He followed his muse. I can say Bob was a huge influence on me and many others. Bob was a true pioneer, taking his art where others were afraid to go." Trent Harris. Seller Inventory # 9064
