Edition limited to 130 copies, this the bookbinder Greg Campbell's copy, Campbell-Logan Bindery, and out-of-series; 12mo, pp. [20]; 4 linocuts by Bill Jackson; original copper cloth-backed gold pastepaper-covered boards, paper spine label; fine. Original prospectus laid in. This book was one of two in an intended series of ideal "small books. that fit snugly in the hand, that fall open easily. that have clear, readable, and conventional types, and good margins -- books suitable for an extra nice Christmas gift to a man or woman who likes and knows fine printing." Carroll Coleman, the author, first published this story in The Colophon in 1935. From 1950 onwards he was the proprietor of the Prairie Press. Walsdorf, A32.
