Photographie,Vintage silver print, Général Raymond Mamier né le 29/11/1894 à Elbeuf décédé le 24/06/1952 à son domicile Parisien d'un cancer du poumon. Il participe à la Libération de la France dans l?armée « Rhin et Danube ». C?est à Saïgon, en 1946, qu?il est promu au grade de général et en même temps élevé Commandeur de la Légion d?Honneur, après avoir été fait Chevalier en 1920 puis Officier en 1934. Polyglotte (il parlait sept ou huit langues), c?était un homme d?une grande simplicité.
