[Los Angeles]: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, [1935]. Vintage original 8 x 10" (20 x 25 cm.) black-and-white glossy silver gelatin photo. Original attached paper blurb on verso, minor diagonal crease towards top right and more significant diagonal crease towards bottom right, small margin tear and light border soil. Near fine. All of Hollywood turned out for the premiere of this Greta Garbo movie, particularly for its superior MGM production of Leo Tolstoy's novel. Marlene Dietrich was contracted at Paramount, Constance Bennett freelanced (she was working at MGM in 1935) while her friend Clifton Webb was working in the theatre. Seller Inventory # 202125
