Black and white photograph of General Ridgway and two other men. To the general's right is a young Bob O'Brien, who many years later was Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs in the Reagan Administration. I have not yet identified the person to Ridgway's left. In all likelihood the photograph was taken circa 1957 on the campus Northwestern when O'Brien was a senior journalism student--Ridgway is also an alumnus of Northwestern. Provenance: from the collection of Robert O'Brien. The photograph is in excellent condition: clean, bright, and crisp, with perhaps a hinto of toning on the verso. The autograph is bright and unfaded. Size: 10 inches by 8 inches.
