I find this style of writing quite effective, injecting liveness into what otherwise could be dry reading. UAV photogrammetry is not just about obtaining pretty pictures. To realize its potential you must 'georeference' the pictures, produce an 'orthomosaic', and make '3D point clouds'. Read the book to find out what all these mean, and much more.' Kike Calvo is an award-winning photographer, journalist and author. He has traveled on assignment to more than 95 countries and his photography has been published in Time Magazine, The New York Times, National Geographic and many others. Well respected in the industry, Kike's Drones and Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Series on National Geographic Blog profiles insightful information, research and thoughts on using drones for journalism, photography and conservation.
