This is a lovely album, with (40+) PHOTOS annotated in Greek: pics of large, formal groups/ men in eveningwear/ Orthodox priest/ school graduations/ folk dancing/ Christmas banquet/ musical gatherings. The album may be annotated in Greek, but the story is a universal-- new immigrants in early 1900s NYC, photos of Greeks celebrating the group's accomplishments and pleasures in their new homeland.
