WorldCat says that this cookbook was published somewhere between 1854-1899. It would seem that this book has been rebound in black boards with gold lettering on spine, and previous owner's name gold stamped on front cover. Front cover has a tear where it joins spine. Pages are age toned, and have some edge chipping and edge damage (as well as well as some cloth tape to prevent further chipping o fore edge). Page 5-6 has a tear with chipping (text partially affected). Page 112 has some tape in the inner margin, which covers part of the recipes. Page 435-436 is missing (it is part of the index).
