The princess with no kingdom

Rome is master of the world, and the Emperors are masters of Rome – but, my nephew: we, the Balbilli, are masters of the Emperors! Tiberius has followed my great-grandfather as Nero has followed my grandfather. For it was only to us that the cosmic gearwork from the forge of the great Archimedes would reveal the fate that was to come.

But alas, my nephew, that mighty heirloom of our house has been wrested from us. When wielded by ignoble hands, it may wreak the cruelest havoc upon Rome. Therefore, we need to recover it!

Hire a number of henchmen willing to devote themselves to our goal, and they shall be indifferent to taking one live more or less. Only then will we be able to exercise our power over the Emperors again.

For did you think, my nephew, that the wolves had devoured me? That will not happen to me, Iulia Balbilla, Princess of the Realm that Is no More. May Rome believe me dead for a while longer; you know it better now: your aunt is coming back from the Hades!
